Summary:
The role of Plant maintenance involves ensuring that all equipment, machinery, and systems in a plant are operating efficiently.
This requires physical strength and hand-eye coordination.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
Monitor the performance of equipment and machinery to identify areas for improvement and suggest modifications or upgrades.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance tasks performed, including the date, time, and cost of repairs.
Communicate with management and other team members to provide updates on maintenance activities and coordinate repairs.
Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment and machinery to identify the root cause of the issue and develop effective solutions.
May also be responsible for assisting with other tasks around the job site, such as manual labor and cleaning.
Qualifications:
Must have 1 year of experience in a Rock Quarry Plant or Ready-Mix Plant.
Repair, weld, and torch experience preferred.
Must be able to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
Some electrical knowledge/experience Attention to detail.
Requires physical strength and hand-eye coordination.
The ability to work well in a team.
Strong communication skills.
Strong understanding of safety protocols Education and
Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalent; Previous MSHA training is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Standing for prolonged periods Lifting to 50 lbs.
Crouching Walking Works in many different weather conditions Pay depends on experience.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
