Summary:
We are seeking a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities, ensuring their well-being and quality of life.
Duties:
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents with intellectual disabilities - Provide direct care and assistance with activities of daily living - Monitor and document residents' progress and behaviors - Advocate for residents' rights and ensure their dignity and respect are maintained - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address residents' needs - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of resident information
Experience:
- Experience in senior care, patient care, or home care settings - Knowledge of resident rights and regulations governing intellectual disabilities services - Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed - Background in nursing, social work, or related field is a plus - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
